Biocrux: Updated Terms & Privacy Policy
The following sections have been updated to include the Scrap Picker and Bottle Collection ecosystem, allowing for multi-item disposal requests and secure data sharing between Users and Pickers.
1. Scrap Picker and Bottle Collection Service
Biocrux provides a platform to facilitate the collection of recyclable materials, including but not limited to plastic bottles and various scrap items. By using this service:
- User Requests: Users may initiate a collection request by adding multiple items to a digital garbage list. Each item must be described accurately.
- Functionality: Once a request is posted, it is made available to registered Scrap Pickers and Bottle Collectors within the platform.
- Acceptance of Request: A Picker may choose to accept a user’s request based on the proximity and the items listed. Upon acceptance, a binding agreement for collection is formed between the User and the Picker.
2. Enhanced Privacy Policy for Collection Services
In addition to our general privacy principles, the following applies to the Collection Service:
- Information Sharing: When a User submits a collection request, and a Picker accepts that request, we will share the User's contact details (phone number), pickup address, and items listed with the Picker to facilitate the physical collection of garbage.
- Location Data: To provide efficient services, we collect your location data to suggest the nearest available Pickers.
- Consent: By submitting a request for "Bottle Collection" or "Scrap Pick-up," you expressly consent to Biocrux sharing your personal information with the third-party Picker for the sole purpose of fulfilling that transaction.
3. Limitation of Liability for Pick-up Services
Biocrux acts strictly as a facilitator between the User and the Scrap Picker. Biocrux does not warrant the behavior, quality of work, or punctuality of the Pickers. Users are advised to verify the identity of the Picker at the time of arrival. Biocrux shall not be liable for any damages or disputes arising from the physical collection process or the handling of garbage items by the Picker.
4. General Compliance & Legal
The collection and disposal of waste must comply with all applicable local and environmental laws. Users agree not to include hazardous, toxic, or prohibited materials in their garbage requests. Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in Mumbai.
